Hi I need to use my C6 to jump start a motorhome. I can see in the C6 manual that there are positive and negative points under the bonnet that should be used if the C6 itself needs jump starting. Do I still use these if I'm jump starting another vehicle from the C6, or do I need to go to the actual battery terminals in the boot? Thanks John |

You'll struggle to get jump leads on the battery, there's very little space, especially with the voltage checking unit on one terminal. I'd use the terminals under the bonnet. |

I used the ones under the bonnet without any problems. Believe it is right. I have measured battery starting capacity both there and at the battery. Not much difference.

I do it all the time from the posts under the bonnet.
