 Hello, I have a 2007 C6 and the handbrake cables have broken. My mechanic in Glasgow managed to get new cables for me but he tells me that the module has also seized. Do you know if there is a repair service for these modules in the UK as it seems Citroen have stopped making them.

I might be able to fix it but won't know until I open it.
If I can't fix it I have one spare unit left in the garage.

 Thanks Mike for the quick reply. As I understand it these modules are unique to the chassis No? So do you think a spare one would work or would it need to be reprogrammed in some way? Sorry if put this thread in the wrong place but I am fairly new to the forum and this was my first question.

 It probably should be in the Garage but no worries...

Not programmed to the car and can be swapped on a like for like basis, e.g. off another C6. It will need calibrating once fitted using the diagnostic tool (lexia or diagbox) but there again it would if you just changed the cables.
