I have bought Diagbox/Lexia hardware (from China) and have managed to get the software installed OK on an XP laptop. Should I be using Lexia or Diagbox, or do they do different things? I have version 7.02 by the way. .... and it's the most horrible bit of software I've seen in a long time, as bad as the worst sort of stuff that was around in the early days of Windows 3.1. Does it work OK in a virtual machine by the way (i.e. Virtualbox on Linux) as that would suit me better and I could give it a machine of its own that wouldn't matter if it got messed up. |

I'm running Lexia because it is faster than Diagbox and I haven't seen a way to clean the fault journal on Diagbox. Lexia looks terrible, but it's fast and does everything you need on the C6. I'm running mine on a VM (VMware player) on a laptop with Windows 10 and I have no issues with it. |

Diagbox is the software that replaced Lexia circa 2012/13 so Lexia is fine for a C6, Diagbox is mainly for newer cars. | ||
