Hi Everyone.

I have just bought a beautiful 2.7 C6 Exclusive, first registered September 2009. I am very happy with it, it's such a beautiful car.

I am trying to work out how to insert a SIM card for the telephone. I have read that there is a card holder that comes out of the SIM card hole, but I can't seem to get anything out of there, and the hole is so narrow I can't get anything in there.

Any advice? How do I get a SIM card into the dashboard?

Many thanks

There's a very small button next to the SIM slot, which you need to press. This ejects the holder. Insert the SIM card and replace.

I can only see a small hole, but no button. Hmm. There is a similar hole on the opposite side of the panel, so I assume these are something to do with removing the whole panel?

Am I blind?

Thanks

Hello and welcome. The button is small and hard to see. It's directly above the card slot, hidden under the edge of the CD eject button.

Ah okay. I found the button. It doesn't depress all that much, and when I press it all the way down, nothing happens ?

The button depresses slightly and should eject a small plastic SIM card holder about a quarter of an inch from the slot below the eject. From what you are saying, I'm guessing that the SIM card holder is missing.

Damn! Yes that makes sense. I will contact the dealer I bought it from and request one.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Hi, a ballpoint pen is the "proper" tool for ejecting the SIM card holder. Says so in the handbook.
