Is the Swirl system the same on 3.0 Hdi ? When I have a "lag" I suspect the gearbox learning system and think it becomes better after a little fresh driving. But I may be wrong and should check this system ? The lazyness is only sometimes and mostly in town traffic. Accelleration on tho open road is good.

I've driven three 2.7 HDi, they are more or less the same, unfortunately. I've done swirl valve jobs and made no difference. |

Don't forget it's a 2.7 and prone to turbo lag from a standing start.

e3steve, I think I spotted swirl valves. Lower mounted and piped differently. Have a look lower down the front of the engine for the front one. Let me know what you think. Best regards, Phil C. |
