Just discovered this forum trying to work out how to fix my thermostat housing on a Peugeot 407 HDi 2.7SV.

Long, long time AngloAustralia French car nut (learned to drive in a Pug 403 in 1969. Family's first Peugeot got stuck in the Suez Canal in 1956 at the time of my first journey to Aus, aged 4. (Australian dad bought the 403 at the 1956 paris motor show).

Fave car of all time was the DS that was my daily driver from 1985 to 1995. Never owned anything other than a Peugeot or a Citroen. Learned car fixing on a Big 6 in the late 1960s. Changed the crankshaft and main bearings on a 403 on Wagga Common using a River Red Gum to hang the hoist once around 1971. (True story)

Long time member of AussieFrogs, but few "on line" resources for my current 407 HDi 2.7 SV when it comes to Thermostat housing replacement. Any tips much appreciated!

Great site here! Well done!

Rod,

I'm on Aussie Frogs too, although I haven't been on there for sometime, I did at one point have a Peugeot 407 3.0 V6 GT Coupe, But I stick with the C6 now.
