Hi Everyone
Can anybody help?!
We have the bonnet up on our citroen C6 and would like to charge the flat battery using jump leads attached under the bonnet, but when we do the car alarm goes off. We cannot open the boot to get the battery out hence charging it from under the bonnet (I don't know what the bits we attach the jump leads to under the bonnet are called). We are using a battery charger normally used for motorbike batteries. We don't mind it taking 48 hours to charge the battery in the boot but the car alarm going off is a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Why not open with the remote on the key to disable the alarm ? It is also usually possible to charge from under the bonnet without trigging the alarm, but if you slam the bonnet, it will start. Charging from under the bonnet is the recommended way.
