Yesterday I woke up and saw a C6. I know what you are thinking, we all saw a C6 yesterday, we own one. But this was different, at first I couldn't believe my eyes, it was in the middle of a field. I even called my wife to see if it was a C6. She told me it looked like one, and told me to get the camera an zoom in... It has burned and I don't know, I'm speculating here, but looks like it was put there to make a chicken coop. I guess those will be some very expensive eggs.. |

Such a shame and it looks like there are a few good parts on it too.

Unfortunately, this is not the first burned out C6 I've seen. I visited a 2006 grey exclusive recently that presumably did not get its recall issues sorted for the fuel related problems (can't remember them now), anyway, it was burned out at the front on what I was presuming was a fuel supply leak of some sort to the engine (2.7) because the worst of the heat was in the middle of the bonnet, which had melted it almost totally up to near the hinges and the cracked windscreen, but the car then was normal from the the A pillars back. In fact it was a lovely example of a early C6! Such a pity I thought and one less C6 left on the road. Slowly the numbers are decreasing. |

Do my eyes deceive me, or is that a RHD model?

It's a LHD, what you are seeing is the structure of the passenger seat. I've seen another one, but grey, burned down in pictures here in Portugal, but it was 5 or 6 years ago, I don't remember if the engine bay had fire damage. |
