I've followed the downloadable document as far as I can - removed all screws, bolts etc. But I think there is some sort of spring catch on each side... can someone talk me through how to release it, please. A present the bumper will not budge (I can see there are two locating lugs into the front wing, but something else is restricting movement). Thanks, Eric | ||

To answer my own question, it is not a case of springy clips at all. What is not obvious from the downloadable procedure document is that you need to pull the wheel arch liners out of the way. Then you can get in with a 10mm socket on a very long extension and undo a bolt on each side which clamps the bumper to the outer wing. These bolts are positioned between the two locating lugs and are unscrewed downwards. Bumper now removed. Now I can set about removing the headlamp units VERY easily and investigate their various imperfections... |
