Well actually it was a few weeks ago but, as the pic should show, the o/s/f fog lamp no longer has any glass. I have no recollection of anything hitting the glass - it's just disappeared, leaving only the part around the edge behind the housing. Does anyone have any similar experience? Perhaps something did hit the glass, or it has disintegrated of its own accord (this happened with the passenger door window of my BX many years ago). Obviously, a new glass is needed - does anyone have any recommendation/suggestion as to source; is it easy to fit? Any thoughts/suggestions/experiences would be most welcome.

Been asked before, the glass is bonded on and Citroen only sell the unit.

If Trainman doesn't have one just Google part 6216 A3 It's a Valeo Fogstar used across the PSA range

You can get None OEM versions on eBay but they are not expensive & easy to fit as I replaced both of mine for new ones this year, there is a thread somewhere which explains how I did it.
Oh, and something has hit that I reckon.

Thanks to all three above.

I started looking on the internet for a new one (seems worth doing it that way in view of relatively low cost) but this has given rise to a couple of LH/RH points:

- is there a difference between the n/s (left) and o/s (right) units on the car?

- are there different RHD and LHD versions?

e.g., the item on the site - Click Here - gives the following info (and thereby seems to be referring to the left-hand light for a LHD vehicle - I need the opposite on both scores!):

Fog Light from VALEO
Weight [kg]: 0,332
Driver Position: for left-hand drive vehicles
Form: Round
Supplementary Article/Supplementary Info: with bulb
Bulb Type: H11
Left-hand / Right-hand Traffic: for left-hand traffic
Lens Colour: White
Fitting Position: Left
from construction year : 01/2004
to construction year : 12/2005
Number of Doors : 5

Can anyone help, please?

From what I can see there is no difference in the units for RHD or LHD.

There simply fixed light units with a lightly frosted glass lens and fit at either side and not handed.
