 This may be a generally useful tip also - to prime the pump I made this zero cost thing.

It's the valve from an old bike tyre, use a jubilee clip or some other wide clip (or wire or string) to fix it to the LDS reservoir filler mouth and use a compressor or hand pump to put gentle pressure on the fluid.

It's useful to check for leaks in the tank and rubber pipes as well.
