Hi all My C6 has failed its MOT on the offside front shock absorber which is leaking seriously. The MOT has expired so the car is off the road. The worse news is the part is on back order with Citroen and there are dozens of people ahead of me in the queue I saw on another thread that there is firm in Poland that can refurbish and I've emailed them. Does anyone have any other ideas please? Thanks B |

Hi Berksboy, try one of the French suppliers: it might even be cheaper. Regards G |

our car has been off the road since 10 Oct' due to leaking front near-side (left, looking forward) suspension strut leaking quite badly (ride had gone floaty, so checked) ... part ordered from Citroën that day & still waiting - part number 5271L7 ... a case has been raised in HQ to chase it out the system, and it seems they're waiting on the supplier ... |

Hi C6dave, would you know who manufactures the struts? I was hoping to change out my front set soon when I rebuild the front suspension as something strange appears to be going on with the driver side strut. Seems to have rotated around by about 15mm from it normal position. Was wondering is it also in the correct vertical position (see image below) apologies the image seems upside down this time Kind regards 321dave |
