A C6 enhances the British National Heritage Motor Museum (along with a C4 Picasso)

Lane, nr Falmouth, has normal cars grounding, however, the mid-high setting is a real boon for me.

Felt I had to post something here. Apologies for crummy camera-phone image it was all I had on me at the time.

As they say in all the best movies: Somewhere in France.

Lucky to still have your wheels; they usually exchange them for four short stacks of bricks.

I was going to say that, but I didn't want to appear 'Regionalist'!

To be fair, it would be hard for anything to enhance the environment of the French Alps, especially any car with a roof box

The 1,500 hundred mile round-trip, four-up, with luggage and camping equipment was an absolute dream. She handled motorways, N Routes and alpine passes with ease. Most of the journey was accomplished on the non-toll motorway route through Belgium and Luxembourg, at a steady 130kph.

I only saw two other C6s on the whole trip, compared to about a dozen Renault Vel Satises. That's exclusivity!

There are two C6s in Cham - one is on 74 plates and has panel damage all down one side (the Alps are a harsh environment for cars), usually parks around rue Whymper off the main roundabout, the other is on Parisian plates.

They are rare, even in France, but in the last month I've seen quite a few over there.

Our latest member, C6Bern, originally from Detroit, reminded me of this photograph I took in San Francisco at the junction of Beach Street and Marina Boulevard, near the Golden Gate Bridge, in 2007. Not a C6 in sight, I'm afraid, but a Traction Avant, DS and 2CV was a surprising and pleasing sight.

Welcome C6Bern, if you're reading this.
