Well if power is getting to the bulb it's unlikely to be a failed fuse.

Check the bulb holders and the wiring connectors

Possible faults causing one light to stay on might include:-

1/ Switch module (under steering wheel)
2/ Earthing fault
3/ Fuseboard fault
4/ Wiring harness fault
5/ BSI software glitch.

Consult the wiring diagrams to see what can be eliminated. Otherwise it looks as though an Auto Electrician should be consulted. In the meantime, consider removing the light bulb to prevent draining the battery.

PS, looking through the various documents, there are no dedicated fuses for the front lights, all controlled through the BSI. Try rebooting the BSI in case it has developed a software glitch someone on the forum should be able to confirm how to reboot the BSI on a Citroen C6.

I'm just be curious here, but when you say "the front side light" do you mean the orange one on the side of the car? or the white one above the headlight?

I ask because mine when through a spate of blowing the orange bulb for fun....

Thank you All, specially to qmerry for detailed explanation and quick reply. As I bought the car -the solution with damaged bulb was on board. So it looks like the problem could be deeper as I though. I should started with BSI reboot if I learned precisely like to do it.
The first elecrician from my location has give up with the problem.
Dear Trainman - there are the white bulbs not orange.
Regards
Edward
