 Our 3,0 Hdi is a wonderful enginge. When reading about the new Maserati diesel I thought specifications were quite close. The Maserati engine is made by Italian VM motors and used by Maserati, Chrysler, Lancia, Jeep. Ours are made by Ford Dagenham and used by Jaguar and Land Rover and PSA. Both with 240/241 HP in standard trim and variable torque, most often 55Nm, stretched to 270 Hp in Maserati.
