diameter of outlet is 13.5 mm, have just miked my old tank, repaced as exploded, by mechanic, who jacked up car, with key in ignition, so pump tried to level car. Have replaced tank wiyh new vented tank. Moral dont leave car with any mechanic who has no experience of Citroen suspensiom

Thanks Roger, I'll source/machine the SAE-8 adaptors to hose stubs. Is the 13.5mm OD of the plastic tank fitting the anti-blowoff bulge or the plain diameter behind this that the clamp goes around. When you mention mechanics, that includes Tyre Bay fitters and MOT testers Good to know that the later tank with pressure relief is a possible retrofit to earlier cars. Regards G |

its the plain diameter, where your replacement terry clip goes. New tank was £40.00 from citroen, only difference is cap, that has deeper inner section and vent, I suppose that I should not count tyre fitters as mechanics!
