Replacing spheres and LDS

 Hello everybody,

As our cars are getting older, we (presumably) need to think about when to change the spheres and LDS. We all know that Citroen guaranteed both for 5 years/125,000 miles, but I imagine that most of our cars are past one, if not both of those markers. Also, we all know that the deterioration in ride quality is very subtle.

Has anybody already changed their spheres and/or LDS? What do we all think about when to change them? We can't leave the factory fitted ones on for ever!

 Did the LDS two year ago after a front strut started leaking heavily and did the spheres in January 2014, the later made a big difference.
