Hi All,

Some time ago the drivers door lock cover disappeared from my car.

I've just noticed that Dave had the same problem on his nearly new 3.0 HDi though managed not to "lose" it!

I've contacted Sportif Citroën and they've said they cannot supply just the cap, but the handle as well and it would be "nude" and have to be sprayed.

Total cost (sprayed by them) - £90!!!!

Any idea if I could get just the cap sprayed the right colour?

Would this do - Click Here - ? They may just be over covers that won't work, C6Dave had them on his previous C6.

If not breakers?

Looks like a C2/C3/C4 or 307 (probably more) would work so should be cheap, and if lucky same colour.

So good luck.

Of course you could, just get an aerosol made up at your local Motor Parts for around £10.00 You have the paint code on the cars 'A' pillar sticker.

You could also buy a set of chrome door handle covers for circa £29.00 - C6, C4 Pug 407 all use the same handles BTW so you could tray a breakers yard for a used handle

C6Dave we're on the same page, save wasn't sure if the aftermarket caps would work if the original cap had gone south.

Do you have to remove the original caps to fit the A/M one?

No, the chrome ones simply glue over the originals.

I mentioned them as it would save painting a new one........

My lock housing disappeared today - must have fallen off today. Very annoying and poor design.

Dave - would the attached do the job?

It's ready painted in Obsidian Black (same as mine) so could be ideal.

Sorry V,

Pug 307 is not the same design. Search for a C4 or Pug 407

Cheerios,
Sam
