 Tickle the throttle first then push and everything works perfectly!

 Yes G, I sometimes do that aswell and it does work, but it's kind of weird to develop this habit, don't you think?!?

What I do is power brake and then the C6 takes off the way it should.

 The sprags are often refered to as one way roller clutches, they can cause rough changes and hold creep drag characteristics when failings on auto boxes.
Don't know if the C6 auto has them or not.
