I know a few are looking to 'self service' their C6's so here is a list of a few items and UK retail Prices (Gulps) 6426YE - Flat Blade - £26.77 net - £31.45 inc Vat @ 17.5% (wiper Blade) 6426YF - Flat Blade - £26.77 net - £31.45 inc Vat @ 17.5% (wiper Blade) 14444WL - Air Filter £22.04 net - £25.90 inc Vat @ 17.5% (Air Filter) 6447TC - Charcoal Filter - £24.02 net - £28.22 inc Vat @ 17.5% (Pollen Filter) 1109AW - Oil Filter - £23.68 net - £27.82 inc Vat @ 17.5% (Oil Filter + Seal) 190696 - Filtering Pad - £18.23 net - £21.42 inc Vat @ 17.5% (Diesel Filter + Seal) So that's £103.36 inc Vat for a full set of Genuine Citroen filters alone Now you can get after market ones once the car is out of warranty but given all the problems caused by cheap oil filters on the C4 engines giving spurious low oil pressure and low oil level readings and engine management warning lights, I would recommend that this at least, should always be a genuine Citroen/Peugeot Part.(prices are the same at Peugeot BTW, I checked) |

£50 bought me all my filters (£16 of which was the air filter from Citroen themselves, though I got that reduced!) Got them in Omagh at a fantastic local auto factors... they had the lot off the shelf and were cheaper than ebay, even before P+P. Citroen seems to be the only place for the air filter though. I had messaged K+N about one and they said none available or planned in the near future. Since done about 8k on Mahle filters allround, no problems! (where's that piece of wood?) However, I would strongly advise against el cheapo oil. I got 15 litres of Total INEO shipped from Britain to Ireland at about £70 all in, easily enough for next two changes and any top ups thereafter. This stuff is good gear and helps emmisions, FAP longevity and MPG (up about 4mpg afterwards). You can get the latest incarnation of Bosch Aeros for less than £30 a pair if you're lucky. There seems to be an newer model number for the C6 ones, though am not sure if there has been any modifications or not. Oh, and try to always fill the tank to the brim from empty. (ie 70 litres plus). This will postpone the day of the great EOLYS rip off and, down the line, the remortgaging required for the FAP change! (God forbid that day comes when the tax is due!!) |

Nickyg, yes Total Ineos meets the PSA spec and is surprisingly realistically priced, eg Chandlersoil - Click Here - |

I posted the retail prices from Citroen, however using the C4owners Premier Member Scheme that came down to under £60 for the full filter pack Likewise the wiper blades were greatly reduced. The posted prices give everyone the opportunity to see what a service at a main dealer is likely to cost. |

While in Germany, we bought Bosch wiper-blades for our 1986 Series 2 CX Gti Turbo, but on return (after four years) went-back to using genuine Citroën parts - hey-presto, the latter worked better & lasted three or four times as long ... we still have a spare in the garage (having passed the car on after sixteen years) ... ie: genuine parts might be best !

Only £16? Seems too good to be true. Hope not, as I've just grabbed a pair too!

Hi all, Opie Oil sell the Mahle LX2788 air filter element for the 2.7Diesel. Regards G I think it is unique fit for Citroen and Peugeot, maybe even just for C6. |
