Trainman wrote ... However, It appears that YOD isn't currently on the road, Wonder where the other two are ![]() Have you considerd the possibility that YOD has been re-registered on a 'Cherished Number'? Possibly what has happened to the two missing ones as well. Pete. |

Pete, I have considered that, In fact, I remember noticing someone on here who has a 55 plate on a cherished number, but for the life of me I can't remember who ![]() ![]() |

I'm not sure that shouting about how you've bought 2 different cars, neither of which sold in any numbers, is necessarily a good idea ![]() Seriously, though, the Avantime was only on sale in the UK for about two years, whereas the C6 has already been available for five years, so the figures per year may be much closer than you think! |

So YOL has been located to REDHURDYGURDYMAN, I've PM'ed another member with a 2005 so that leave's 7 other's who aren't members. The one that was water damaged, and is in the breakers, I've eliminated from my search, purely because it's got the Cream Leather interior and I believe all the 2005 registered ones had Black Leather. (and it was registered in 2007, I know don't go off the registration date!) I have a bit of a quest/crazy idea of finding them all for a one off photo shoot. If you do come across them on your travels, I'd be extremely pleased to know where they were seen. |

Well, That didn't go according to plan, 2006 car on a 55 plate, Oh Well. ![]() Anyway, the 'Old Girl' has now just gone through the 80,000 mile marker, and I have to say with very little effort. The have been a couple of incident like brake pads freezing to the disc's, and the washer on the light's giving up the ghost, Hopefully, something and nothing. Not having the benefit of a garage I can get the car in, that can wait until the warmer weather. I also need to look at the Head unit CD disc drive as it's struggling to read the satnav disc, hopefully just needs the heads cleaning. ![]() ![]() All in all, extremely chuffed with her still, Got a car polisher for Christmas, ![]() ![]() |

Well, Well, what do you know? YOO has surfaced in Chesterfield and is currently for sale ![]() I was pointed this out by a fellow member, so that means that YOC, YOH, YOM are still out there somewhere with another 2 unknown plate letter's |

Looking good Steve! I've always had good results with Super Resin Polish. Just be careful to keep it off any unpainted plastic bits, because the white marks can be a real pain to get off. How about a coat of Extra Gloss Protection now, for a bit of added sparkle? My car came with Gardx treatment, and I decided to give it a fair go, i.e. until the little bottles run out. It seems like a lot of work for OK, but not stunning results. I've got a big bottle of Super Resin Polish waiting on the shelf, and I've been starting to look forward to using it again. I did get it down last week, just for a quick sniff... Mmm. ![]() Steve. |

Been busy this week, Took the youngest nephew nephew to see his mate in Market Drayton, then got a phone call to ask if I could another nephew, from Brize Norton. Leave Preston at 11:30, arrive back home at 22:35, 470 miles later not a murmur from the car, couldn't have asked for more. Been having a look at getting the wheels powder coated, but I don't like some of the prices. I've also found a broken clip under the bonnet, so need to get that ordered along with new boot chevrons as one of them has lost part of the chrome. |

That latest discovery in Chesterfield. Just down the road from me. Hmmm. I went to a body work specialist 3 weeks ago to get a little bump taken out. When i mentioned tiny car wash scratches over the car and bush scratches he recommended autoglym polish. Told me after every 3 washes use it and the scratches will be gone after around 3 to 4 months. | ||
