When it get warm here now in summer , it's 22c and mostly raining in Dublin, I'm to scabby to run the AC ( avg dsl price is 142c).

I assum when the seat heater is fully off when scrolled down. I have the windows open and fans/air OFF,
Now the seat is roasting, very sweaty at base and lower backrest.

It's it just the leather and me sitting in it, or is the seat heater being put on by some other action .
I presume the roller switch is direct to the seat elements and not other cone toons to the climate control.

Opinions ? Very Warm in here,
PS pls don't reply with put on your AC if your hot! Thank you. Byron

I have tried not using my AC and decided that the difference in mileage is negligible and leaving it on prevents bacteria building up in the system.

There shouldn't be anything that activates the seat heaters except the switch, I know this may sound daft, but, have a look at the switches to make sure they are not upsidedown. you really would be surprised...

When you look at the switch there should be a zero (0) and then the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 (I think)

I've just switched them on and oh Lordy the switch is ok too hot now all together

So I would come to conclusion that it's my fat ass and it's very humid sitting on the leather which is great insulator .

Definitely, it's far better left on in auto mode as ac systems that aren't used can get very smelly indeed

My leather sofa seems to have heaters too! I think it's just the effect of cushioned leather seats.

This is why I always wanted air conditioned seats! Leather feel very nice and looks good but it is sweaty in the summer and cold in the winter, which is not exactly ideal! I always leave the air conditioning on and not just in the summer. In the winter, it's much more effective for clearing the windscreen, for example.
