Left hand headlamp assembly required

 Hello all:

I have a 2007 2.7HDi in silver. RHD as I live in Australia. My left hand headlamp is giving me grief as internally the too small wires and some of the pins in connectors are failing, due to heat.

Whether ambient heat from the sun or due to headlights heating up while being used is uncertain.

There are very very few of these cars in this country and spares are not available. I have had an auto-electrician perform key-hole surgery twice on the affected headlamp and he says that I should probably start looking for a replacement.

I am travelling to the UK in December this year and will try to pick up a replacement while I am there. I will be travelling quite widely, Scotland, The Lakes District, Southampton London, and will be driving. So I can pick up easily....

This is me putting out feelers, trying to source a LH headlamp...

I am okay for every thing else, but my taillamps are looking a little faded and they have some condensation inside too.
