Saludos cordiales! -------------------------------------------------------- Good night, I have a problem with my c6, the suspension pump doesn't stop at any time, even if I get out of contact. At the end melt maxifuse. The car is up to the right level, the switchboard has changed and it is still the same. Has it happened to someone? I have to have the maxifuse removed and I can not circulate at a high speed since the suspension does not correct depending on the type of driving another factor. Best regards! |

Hi, I've not experienced this fault but... As the pump runs with the ignition off you must have at least two faults! Or a major short circuit in the wiring! The pump is supplied 12v from the maxi fuse via a relay mounted near the side of the radiator (big brown one). This should kill the power when the ignition is off. Then you have a pump electronics fault. The little module on the side of the pump controls the pump running via power from the relay and a control wire from the bigger module (BHI) on top of the pump. It's going to need a bit of investigation to find the fault... Good luck |

Gracias!! ---------------------------------------------- Thank you for your help, whether I can find the relay you say {large and brown next to the radiator} for seeing if it gets hooked. I'll also check the pressure sensors, anyway a lot of work. Thank you!! |

My C5X7 can run the pump when you get in the car before you turn on ignition. Is the C6 different in that regard? (I tried listening out for my C6 doing it yesterday, and did not hear anything.)

Same programming, depends on the situation. Often my C6 will start the pump and have 5 cm higher position after unlocking doors

-------------------------------------- If your Citroën C6's suspension pump doesn't stop even when you turn off the ignition and ends up blowing the fuse, it's most likely due to a stuck power relay, a short circuit in the control wiring, or an erroneous signal from a height sensor that's causing it to run continuously. If the control unit has already been replaced and the car maintains the correct height, the problem is usually in the power supply circuit or the hydraulic unit. It's also advisable to check the condition of the BSM/BSI and verify if the pump is receiving constant power when it shouldn't, because driving without the system active can affect stability and other associated mechanical components, including support elements and automotive bearings that depend on proper suspension management. |
