Hey guys,

My car has been sitting on my drive for 7 years since I bought my van.

It's in pretty good condition but does not run. 130K miles. Iron grey/black leather.

I've decided to scrap it as I know I will never put it back on the road. It will go to my friendly breaker in the next couple of weeks.

If anyone wants it, £500 secures the car. No offers thanks

It has lots of good parts on it such as tow bar/ new instrument cluster/ newish front uprights/ good glass/ clean interior etc. however I am not interested in breaking it for parts.

Let me know if anyone want's it..The car is in Elderslie, Scotland.

All the best,

Frank

Hi Frank,
Do you know why it doesn't run?

I should have a slot in the Scottish home for poorly C6's in the not too distant future. If you could hold on to it for a little longer I'll take it rather than see it crushed.

I'll PM you a number and we can have a chat about it.

Cheers
Michael

Hi Michael,

There is a problem with the diesel injection supply. Gearbox is also perfect btw.

I'm afraid the car will be gone shortly. My breaker is actually a pal. He will keep the car to break until there is no more interest in it.

Thanks for your interest and good luck with the C6 OAP home.

ATB

Hi.

I am also quite interested in this, not least because my C6 is bodily absolutely awful, and I recon there is one good car between the two of yours and mine.

Understand that it doesn't run, but does the handbrake come off so it can roll? any other issues with being able to get it onto a trailer (IE not locked in park or anything like that?)

I'm particularly interested in the towbar, and if the car has a short stay of execution before going off to be broken, I'd welcome the chance to come and get it off.

Hi David,

The car rolls freely and can go on a trailer without issue, but not under its own steam!

I don't want to remove the bar as I need this to put it on a trailer/wagon when/if it goes to breaker. Here it is this morning!

I am still hoping to make use of this and my "tatty as hell" one to make a great car. Looking into transportation costs etc, and whether there may be somewhere in scotland (at a friend's place) that I can keep this for a while.
Hoping that it doesn't get binned in the meantime, as this is soooo much better than my one. Other than it not running of course!
