I'll offer this for sale here, and put what can only be described as a half-ass-ed attempt at a for-sale advert up. I'm not entirely convinced I want to sell it, but if someone wanted to make me an offer, I could be convinced.

2007 2.7HDI Lignage. Came from factory as dark blue, and someone at some point has given it a respray in black, which is now quite badly faded on the bonnet and roof. It's also had a clang on the passenger side, so there are dents on the front passenger door, the rear door is damaged on the leading edge (and the plastic lower trim is broken) and the rear wing is a little crumpled ahead of the rear wheel.

However.. the interior (black) is lovely. It really does not show any damage anywhere, and it's in great condition. Mechanically, the car is in good order too. Runs and drives well, and gets over 40mpg on the motorway with ease.

Has had a recent handbrake unit overhaul with new cables, and also the water outlet elbow which I understand is a common failure item has been done.

The big thing (IMO) that is wrong with it is that the AC has a split pipe and does not work. I am planning on fixing this if I can, as it's more important than the body to me.

Also I am fixing the nearside wiper issue detailed elsewhere. I think a s/h motor will sort it.

It's never going to be a show-stopper, but it might be the cheapest C6 for sale. I'm thinking around £1500 but could be open to offers. I'm in no hurry to sell. Car is in West Sussex, near Horsham. Can deliver. Photos to follow when I can park it somewhere appropriate to get down both sides and get pictures.

well, that didn't last long

there's currently a cheaper one on ebay but obvs has a few issues to sort as well

When you mentioned picking it up in Hexham I did wonder if it was the one I recently supplied handbrake cables for.

best of luck with the sale...

Well, yes and no.

I really rather like it, and am currently on a 1000 mile business journey round trip in it. I will likely keep it, but if someone wanted to buy it off me, I'd be happy to sell it.

Also, that one on ebay is properly cheap... i'm amazed, would have expected that to be somewhat more than that.

I really can't make up my mind!
