Hello everyone, I was hoping someone would know (or would be in a position to check easily), whether the C6 has any pre-drilled holes in the front and back for the licence plate frame? And if so, how far apart are they and which size bolts do they take? When I bought mine, I put on one of those frameless adhesive velcro holders which I would now like to replace with snap frames and for the life of me I cannot remember if there were any holes underneath or not. Unfortunately I cannot check without taking the velcro off permanently. The thing is that in Switzerland our front plates are much smaller and I do have two holes on the side of my front license plate that are remnants from the previous French plastic frames, but they are obviously too far apart for our size. And I don’t know if there are any others closer to the centre. I would really like to avoid drilling in new holes myself. If someone could let me know (via photo, measurements or something like that) or could advise if it’s mentioned somewhere in the technical documentation (if not market-specific), I would be most grateful. Thanks! |

For the rear plate have a read of this thread: - Click Here - As for the front, (read this: - Click Here - if I remember (it's a while back) I had to drill new holes and use tape when I changed plates adding plate holders. Hopefully someone will be able to answer the question though of the actual OE hole centres, but I don't think anyone has asked that question before! |

Hello Aeth, As far as I can see it's a blank canvas. You mark your licence plate mounting holes on the front/rear panel, drill a pilot hole and use self tapping screws into the plastic. Best regards, Phil C. |
