Hello Rozen 77,

This oil is not correct for the automatic transmission as it is JWS 3314.
If your car is a 2.2 or 2.7 HDi you need an oil matching JWS 3309.
If you car is a 3.0HDi you need an oil matching JWS 3324.
There is no filter.

Best regards,

Phil C.

A bit of research brings up this, which hopefully helps answers the question - Click Here -

3324 apparently has a lower viscosity to help meet Euro5 spec emmissions as per Volvo owners as well 'As Aisin Warner (makers of the C6 auto boxes) introduced transmissions with increased numbers of gears they needed to reduce the viscosity of the fluid used and introduced JWS 3324.'

Hello DAVE,
Thank you for the link.
as I understand from the conversation in the link,
there is no clear answer if JWS3324 is better from 3309 , an I right?
Is only for later EURO spec that want less emission standards.
I don't understand why transmission oil has emission, it's not somethings that belong to Engine oil?

the Botton line, it if JWS3309, is risky to my transmission of my year Hdi 2011?

Thanks
Guy

Every thing in the drive train affects emissions due to additional load on the engine, even electrics and air con. Heavier oil in the gearbox would add 'drag' but I doubt it would make any difference to a garage MOT emission test due to the level of equipment used, and the tolerances allowed (in the UK anyway)

As for the fluid, sorry, can't help with that. I can only suggest you contact Asin direct for definitive technical advice on what fluid to use.

Hello Guy,

I use Total LV MV which is JWS3324 although I would trust other manufacturer's oil quoting that spec. I'm not sure of the specific differences between JWS 3414 and JWS 3324 but 3324 is the specification for your transmission. I would not experiment with a different specification.

Best regards

Hello Phil,

I asked FEBI about the oil that I bought and they confirmed that this oil the JWS 3324 is compatible with the febi 101161 product that purchase .

https://partsfinder.bilsteingroup.com/en/article/febi/101161

so its mean that the oil that I bought has Spec JWS 3414 and JWS 3324
