Changing Language to English RT3

 Hi all, my French purchased C6 is of course in French, I would like to change it to English. I don't have the CD with the software for it though, just a CD with maps. Is it possible to download the software CD from an image file and burn it to CD? If so, does someone have the image file? Can I use any version?

I'm quite sure I have the RT3 as i have a 2007 C6 with the CD changer in the boot.

 The CD with system etc actually has a part number. Not expensive. Check with a dealer. The "new maps" box also includes a system disc, but it is not complete, but worth a try.

 Thanks, I'm in France so will they have the correct CD ? is it language specific or is it the same CD with all the languages on it?

If all else fails you could look for a used RT4 unit to upgrade and swap it for the old and slow RT3, there is a guide on site (somewhere)

 This is from the owners manual.....

To choose the language:
1. Press on A.
2. Use B to select the icon “Personalisation-Configuration” then confirm your choice by pressing C.
3. Select your choice of language, via B.
4. Use B to select the desired language and validate your choice by pressing C.
5. Validate “OK” on the screen.
