Hi all, While reassembling my car’s front left suspension strut, I see what appears to be a wire-end that seems to have been chopped off in the past, before I bought the car. Would anyone be willing to let me know (or even better - attach a photo) of where this wire originates? I couldn’t find any reference to it in the Citroën documentation. ![]() The missing wire is circled in red. Many thanks, Arnon I’m including a link to the photo shared on iCloud, as I’m getting an error message trying to attach it to this post: - Click Here - 2009 C6 3.0HDi |

Much appreciated Dave. I’ve been spending the afternoon watching random C6 videos on YouTube with the hope that one of them unintentionally provides a glimpse of this connector. Not much luck so far. It does seem to be somehow related to the worn brake pads wiring, but I’m unable to make any educated guess. | ||

Mystery resolved. Wire no.2 is missing in my car. It was probably snipped in the past. A new wiring harness is part number 6599KN. The relevant image. The missing wire is marked 2 ![]() |

Hello Arnonf, It's the battery negative for the low brake pad warning circuit. This and the loom with connector readily get damaged on the cars. You're lucky that's the only part of the wiring that's damaged. Try and repair it yourself is the best approach. Best regards, Phil C. |
