Error code P0299 Occurs both temporarily and sometimes as a permanent error. Can be deleted - but keeps coming back. Since the 2.2 engine diesel turbo DW12BTED4 PF is not only installed in the C5, but also in the C6, I hope that similar problems have been solved. The vehicle does not go into emergency mode - no loss of power recognisable, and no error light illuminates. Now to my problem. I realise that this error can have many causes, but perhaps the error code and the following description will help me narrow it down. The model has several solenoid valves and lots of vacuum hoses for the turbo control - is there any damage to the turbo control or other leaks recognisable? Or even turbo damage with jammed adjustment or or or or...? I am grateful for any information and help. Kind regards Wolfgang |

Everything on site for P0299seems to be related to the 2.7 and 3.0 hdi's so had a look online for the 2.2 and found a post on the issue with the following advice: Start by having the air mass flow sensor at the air filter diagnosed. And be sure to use the newest Diagbox for this diagnose. I was using 7.12 or there about and getting the P0299 code for underboost. When I updated Diagbox to latest at this time 9.149 the code changed to P0100 air mass flow meter. Changed the AMF, and it's Like a brand-New car |
