I was sent a NEW brake pedal switch CITR0EN 4534 66 . THE part# on the SWITCH I received is 995835 T 02 . The part# on my original OEM switch is 9650688480 . The NEW brake pedal switch PLUNGER is longer and has less TRAVEL than the OEM switch , so it will not work / fit Is this the wrong switch that I was sent ? IS it POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THE PLUNGER LENGTH ? |

Have a read of this: - Click Here - You should be able to adjust the length, but it's a while since I did one. There will be different manufacturing part numbers cast into different sections of the unit, plus Citroën did change the part numbering system to be consistent with Peugeot when they shared a parts' distribution network |

Hello Citroenroen1, The switch is self adjusting. You can pull it out to maximum length and when you press the brake pedal to the floor and the switch bottoms out, the plunger ratchets down to the correct length. I got a switch only last year to fit to a member's car. Best regards, Phil C. |
