Out of the blue car fault log came up with ESP/ASR faulty air bag seat belt faulty ABS braking system faulty Hand brake faulty. Time for Lexia a quick check and needless to say a load of fault codes cancelled them and re read the dialogue and most faults still the same as before. This could be enough to call it a day with the cost of what was showing. Time to see what Snap-on shows just one major fault (c1330) Front right wheel speed sensor signal electrical fault open circuit to positive, short circuit to earth. ![]() Car diagnosis showing. ![]() Lexia faults + more showing. I then had auto box ECU faulty, electric hand brake fault. Enough of this, time to do another Snap-on live data with a short drive. Confirmed just one fault showing Ft RH speed sensor. Replaced with a spare and a road test and all is well. Hope this DIY solves the complicated Lexcia or it may be my setup! ![]() ![]() Cannot figure out why Lexia can be so time consuming and showing incorrect diagnosis. For a C6 you should forget the lexia app and only use Diagbox. Most of the errors will be communication errors triggered by the ABS module having a fault with one sensor. It effectively tells all the other ECU's not to rely on me for info and the other ECU's say "Oh I can't work properly without you. I better tell the driver I'm not playing" ![]() |
