I changed this tube (6466 WJ) in 2017 and now it is again rusted and leaking heavily. I will try to drive the 100km to my trusted garage with many refilling stops. They will try to replace the rusted part with a hose. Any idea for getting the part ? Any thoughts on the "hose solution" ? The leak is just above the left driveshaft. The part for the 3.0 Hdi is not the same as the one for the 2.7 Hdi, our part is more complicated (two smaller tubes)

The car is 2010 with 250 000 km

Looking online I found an image of the pipe as seen below.

Looking at it I can't see an issue with using some hose to replace the 'rusted' pipes if you cut them at 'A' 'B' & 'C' leaving the brackets in situ to secure them back to the car and the original connectors to secure it all back in place?

How difficult it will be to remove the whole part to do it though, I don't know.

The Citroen specialist workshop that I use (B.L.Autos, in the U.K.) have repaired this pipe on many C6 (mainly 2.7HDi with the single pipe) inserting a piece of rubber pipe, securing with jubilee clips, having cut out the rusty metal section. Never had a failure thereafter.

Thanks for good advice !! I will hand it over to my garage, and include C6Dave suggestions and picture. (Driving 100 km with a big leak went well/no overheating with 4 refill stops and 25 liters of extra water !)

Thanks for help ! My local garage (Voss, Norway) used 2 hoses for replacing rusted parts of the complicated tube (and got the advice from Dave) After 500 km everything OK, no leakage, normal temperatures etc
