One third of the Sat Nav screen has gone 'pale'

 Last year I had my C6 Exclusive valeted. I suspect they dried the dash with a high pressure airline. When I got it back, the screen displayed a problem, with a third of it being 'pale' - see the photo. My specialist Citroen garage (Ray Williams of Slough) hadn't seen the problem previously. At the time I did an internet search and came across a French car site (Peugeot / Citroen as I recall) which had pictures of the same condition. Stupidly I did not save the site information and cannot now locate it and the relevant comments.

I now want to repair the odd glitches such as this before I sell the car (which I have had for 12 of its 13 years). Can anyone suggest a solution to the problem or even suggest what the site might have been that I found last year.

 Hi, i think the only solution is to replace the screen, there is a topic now where a C6 is being dismantled for parts so i suggest you contact him and buy the screen from the donor car and replace yours.

To open the dash is not that difficult..
