My SATNAV (2010) shows relevant map and position, and target adress is easy to find and select. But after that the advice is absurd, even if map looks right and updates correct. Telling my to turn around, to leave the road etc etc. Useless so far.

Any ideas ?

What version of the software is it running 8.2?

What year maps - 2012?

You can get updates here for firmware 8.20: - Click Here -

But 2012-2013 maps may yet appear here: - Click Here -

I probably have RT5 and software version is 8.10 D-11. I will try to upgrade. I have ordered the full package of 2012/13 European maps and the photobox addition.

My Bluetooth connects to mobile and functions very well ! No USB connector found. Jukebox is very useful.

Thanks so far, will report progress

You need 'Mira Scripts' to enable the USB Option, there is a thread on it

I will take the upgrade first. Made a CD without anything else on. Hope it will self-start and work OK. Then new maps, then photopboxes. But how to use the Mira scripts ? I have found them, but not the "how to do it"

Pretty simple, put them on a CD, insert the disc and scroll down to the desired function and press the enter button

There should be a 'readme' file in the zip package - Click Here -

Upgraded software, new maps and familiar with the system. Works OK. The biggest part of the problem was the setting "avoid toll roads" that came with the car. In Norway almost all roads are toll roads (a new creative kind of taxation" nand then te result was quite absurd.
