Updating the threat to let you know that I just received my C6.

As you know it's the 2.2 hdi Exclusive with manual gearbox.

I was wrong about the tires as the previous owner fitted the 18' rims, with 245/45R18. May be I'll try to do squeeze some miles from the Sunew YS618 and then change it for some Goodyear's Efficient Grip.

I've done 60 miles today, mostly on highways.

C6 is not really a high performance car is it?

Heavy one yes.

Ideally I would have prefered not to mix patterns or makes on the same axle and made quite an effort the that aim.

Unbalancing the car after about 40 miles nothing noticed, i'll report back if necessary.

Im getting the car back tomorrow so will ask for printout. I agree, why would you need to replace the whole unit. How can the unit have a function. What happened to the good old days when a blown bulb cost a fiver and was changed on the drive. Why why why does a blown bulb not mean a blown bulb.
