If you need a 8.2 disc, I can post you mine which I downloaded from the eurovan site.

So far since the update I have not experienced any random rebooting.

The satnav now has blue sky and clouds in 3D view with enhanced graphics at intersections ect, I'm not sure if the traffic announcements that one can set up was an existing facility, as I am still learning the system.

One glitch that I have noticed is that on the instantaneous read out, if I have set a destination, the distance to destination is shown in miles but the tag shows kms, all the other readout tags are in imperial

Thanks Rodger, disc isn't the problem. Mine is stuck in the dead unit. Will try the fuse as suggested on other thread. Cheers

Guys, if buying from a dealer, should they have updated to 8.20 and the maps for me?

I got mine from Sportfif Chalfont as well. I asked them and they upgraded the firmware, but not the maps (the latter are not cheap by sat nav standards).

Doubt they will do the maps unless you pay, as they aren't cheap (but are available free online if you know where to look) plus take an age to load.

Around 25 minutes per disc and there are 10 or so for a full update and you have to keep the engine running otherwise 'Economy Mode' kicks in and the process fails, potentially corrupting the database........

I'll make sure the files are still on my laptop, anyone with a USB key or a blank CD is welcome to a copy.
