RHD Car Production - How Much Longer?

 Also after having chatted to the dealer at Chalfont, I've heard apparently they are one dealer out of the four that sold a new C6.

 Hi I'm new so if this wrong appologies in advance.

I have ordered a new 3.0HDI 25th January 2012 - Black pearl- black leather non tgv seats, alledged March build April delivery can wait wanted one since 2006(C5 instead).

Anyway last Tuesday 31st Jan, I called into Slough HQ, and was told that from 1st Feb Citroen France would no longer be accepting orders.

In the retail showroom they said they ordered one for a customer, so I guess 2012 registrations could be 2?

 There were 4 x C6 registered as new in January 2012 in the UK according to the SMMT statistics.

Remember that the Japanese Tsunami in 2011 caused all sorts of automotive industry parts supply problems, including lack of supply of the 6 speed auto gearbox that is used in C6, C5 & many other cars. So, no C6 for many months.

Welcome to the Forum Clive (gobxoy), your car will be a very special one. being one of the last built, you're very fortunate, i hope you fully enjoy it .

March/April will be the last month of production at Rennes.

I wonder if the production line will then move to the far East?????????

Very much doubt it personally. Looks like the end of C6 production is nigh

 All complaining about RHD C6 no longer being produced in a while... I foresee more problems for the LHD fans, as the production for those will stop as well and after a while a nice DS9 (or something like that) will come out as RHD only chines) while new laws in my country will prohit the import of RHD cars within a year...

 I think you'll find that in China they have LHD cars and drive on the right.

 Hi here's a funny thing, went in to Roy Tolleys colcester, regarding my order. they said normaly they get an email when a product is no longer avialable. Also Abyss blue now available but not Perla Nera Black so just maybee on the pearl black discontinued?? Who knows???
