Might be a daft question but when changing these should the car be sitting on it's wheels, or lifted up with it's feet dangling? I can't find anything in the technical section...

Thanks!
Bob

Car's suspension set to low, car lifted up with wheels left dangling.

So - daft question now! How the hecky peck do you jack the car up when you've put the suspension in 'low' and loosened the little screw to depressurise it? I do have a low profile jack but not sure if that will fit under! Only time I've lifted the car before was to remove a rear wheel and arch liner to repair the petrol flap lock and I out it in high and just lifted the wheel clear of the ground for that little job.

Ok if your not using a hoist carry out this way.

Set the suspension to high, block car under the four sill marking positions.
Return the suspension settings to low and carry out work as required.
