Hi everyone,

Can anybody provide advice on how you go about adjusting the aim of the headlight washers? Is there a way to extend the washers and have them stop in the open position, like the active rear spoiler?

Hello Stealth,

I'll have a look at one I have spare. I have a feeling you can't. Is there a problem with yours? They can blow out the nozzle pressed into the outlet resulting in you losing the powerful spray action.

Best regards,

Phil C.

The washers are pushed out under water pressure and return by a spring. No individual electrical control. Not 100% sure, but I think water only gets directed to them when the headlamps are on. You could have the vehicle stationary with lights on and an assistant operating the washer... then grab them, whilst extended, to have a quick inspection. Otherwise it's bumper off to get good access. Like all washer nozzles, they're vulnerable to debris clogging them up.

Thanks Phil. No problem. They're working powerfully well but the passenger side one sprays a little too high.

Thanks @sotweedfactor, I was hoping someone would provide that answer! Excellent. I'll just grab it while it's deployed and see if I can re-aim the sprayer.
