I have a 2006 petrol car.

Just got the message "Polution system falure". The yellow icon for motor lit as well...
I drove it yesterday with out a problem. I did used the "kick down" for a brief time. Could this have caused the problem?

I have read though most of the threads here but none seems to be coherent with my problem.
The engine is slightly shaking as if its running on three cylinders...

Could this be the case?

Any other thoughts....

Cheers, J

I have had similar issues. Turned out to be failed coils.

Well, my Lexia says its something wrong with coil nr 1. Its hard to know exactly how to reply since my Lexia is in swedish. Its says something like "guidande" of coil nr 1 is faulty.

Change Coil nr 1?
