Checking the electronics of the front shock absorber with AMVAR

 Hello. I need to change the front left shock absorber of the Citroen C6 2.7 HDI with AMVAR. They offer me a new, not yet installed shock absorber without warranty. On the surface it looks good. Is it possible to check before installation that the electronics work?

 I learned that there shoud be 11 Ohms or so between pins, and that number doubles between some pins. I bought new and it was not working - no connection between pins. Next time I will measure first...
