Power Steering Pump weeping

 Hi all,
Has anyone any experience of stripping and resealing a PAS pump?

I've got mine on the bench and have removed the internals of the pump which look to be in fine condition! However, I can't work out how to get the pump main shaft out. I don't really want to go at it with a big blunt object and risk damaging it!

Any thoughts or drawings that show how the shaft and front bearing are removed would be very helpful.

I have bought a replacement and this one might end up being a sacrificial lamb in readiness for the next one!
