My First C6 - EO56 ULE

 Hello everybody

So after some years of toying with the idea of purchasing a C6, a car i've always admired and after owning a number of other Citroen's, all of a sudden I'm about to acquire this rather lovely example.

It seems to be in very good condition and has a great service history. I was wondering if any other members were familiar with this car (its a 2006 2.7 HDI Exclusive in Ganache), or perhaps had even previously owned it?

It would be great to be able to put together more of its history.

PS Now to try the impossible and source a tow bar for it

 that does look like a stunning car. If I get the chance I think I'll have one in that colour someday. Until then I'm content with my Red ones

 I've sold this car twice, both times to friends. First friend sold it back to me as part exchange against a 3.0HDi I was selling. Then it went to another friend, who's recently part exchanged it.
There should be a very full service & ownership history with the car. First owner was a private customer for about a year. Second owner kept it for many years (10+), then I sold it.
It's been well looked after by the Citroën specialist B.L.Autos for the majority of its life.
I always loved the colour.

You should be able to buy a new tow bar from any Citroen dealer. Make sure you get the wiring harness too. There's a towing section of the forum.
Wiring harness kit is part number 9428E7.
Tow bar is part number 9727CP.
Please check these part numbers are current with a dealer, rather than just ordering them.

 Thank you so much for your reply, this is exactly what I was hoping might come from my post. I am guessing that the C6 by nature of its rarity is quite a small community generally.

What you say matches exactly with what I know. I've bought the car from the dealer who took it in part exchange from your second friend (who also knew him already). The full history is still present, which is why I snapped it up, its very well looked after and had an awful lot of money spent on it.

The service book suggests it had a new engine in 2019, which I can't yet find an invoice for. This is what I was interested in finding out more about if I could.

I too think it's a lovely colour.

Regards towbar I have now ordered one from Citroen, with the wiring kit. Your numbers are still current. There are none in the UK, so its special order from France, hoping it won't take too long.

Do you happen to have the pdf documents of those two pictures you shared please? I always like to see what I'm letting myself in for in advance fitting wise

Yes, I have the full documents for tow bar installation.
I'll ask the admins to upload to the Technical Document section, for everyone's benefit.
