Hi to all! I have a 2.7 HDI Exclusive (Lounge), year 2008., that I abandoned 2 years ago as not worth of investing because there are oil leaks we could not locate, and the engine has to go out. I couldn't let him go, so now I decided to fix it. But now I discovered there are no spare parts any more (new) at PSA dealers network, so I looked up for the Land Rover parts. I need intake manifolds (LR cat. no. LR032723 and LR032724 correspond to PSA no. 0248L9 and 0248L8 respectively). All of manifolds have numbers casted on themselves: 4S7Q-9424-H is always related to 0248L8 ie. LR032724, while 0248L9 ie. LR032723 have few casted marks with always the same leading number but different end letter: 4S7Q-9424-G or 4S7Q-9424-JB, also found end letters -GH, -LB, -GG. I got the info from a LR shop that all previous variants of the Land Rover and Jaguar versions of these are replaced by these latest versions, the engineering numbers on these will be 4S7Q9424LB and 4S7Q9424MB. Does anybody knows if those LR parts (intake manifolds) are identical to ones mounted to Citroen, and will fit? Thank you! |

from what I've been able to find on the web they do look to be the same. I think I would be looking for used C6 versions be be absolutely safe.

FYI - The part numbers such as 4S7Q-9424-H are Ford numbers. The end letter is the revision, so a GH is an update of GG, for example.

Update for all c6 2.7 HDI owners: Yes, part no. 4S7Q9424LB and 4S7Q9424MB fit to C6. Don't bother getting used ones (or just replacing the gaskets), they are deformed and will still leak if you only change the gaskets. |
