Hi All, Couple of snaps of a little job I do each year as Winter starts to fade. I've noticed a slight build up of damp in the spare wheel area plus bit of a 'tide mark' on the boot lid trim. That doesn't appear damp so I don't think the rear number plate mount or boot is leaking but is possibly just a not particularly tight fitting lid letting dust in. I like to clear it all out, check all the rubber bungs, including under the tail lights , vacuum all the trim then wipe everything down and let it dry out in the sun. I've had vehicles previously where that damp smell has got a hold and it can prove difficult to shake so a good airing every now and then is worth half an hour messing about. ![]() ![]() |

That will be the spoiler seal leaking. A known problem around these parts. Remove the boot lid trim, then remove the spoiler assembly and reseal. |
