Cruise Control Intermittent Fault

 Hi ALL!

C6 2.7HDi Exclusive owner here. One year in and 4000 miles has proven what an amazing vehicle it is. Recent full service (my vehicle has has a LOT of work done/parts replaced) so everything works and is in good order - except Cruise Control:

Intermittent issue, works fine then randomly shuts off with massive loss of engine power, 3 flashing bars and unable to reset CC. Switch ignition off, wait for a few mins and all back to normal. Recent service was NFF.
Any ideas please?

 hi. I have a C6 petrol and have an intermittent fault with CC. Usual trick is to move the steering wheel in/ out and up/ down a few times. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I think it's a problem with cabling being stretched too much so I might need to give it in to be looked at
