Hi folks,

Very reluctantly, we’re going to have to offer our c6 - GJ57NYK for sale. We’ve not had it that long, but it needs some work doing on it - it turns out, having taken it to a main dealer for dpf additive replenishment and with a wedding to pay for, it’s just not going to be possible to do, so if interested - I’m on a work break at the mo but these are the pics I have to hand - happy to answer any questions. It’s too lovely a car to go for scrap, and with a bit of TLC it’ll be as sublime as it should be.

It has huge and full service history, and everything bar what’s on the citroen rap sheet (as I shall term it) works. Happy to talk through what trelawny Citroen has found, and open to sensible offers from someone who wants to keep this fabulous car on the road.

Feel free to ask for more info.

Andy

Struggling to add images for some reason (she's not really upside down honest!) - but if you check my twitter feed AndyRoden1 there's plenty of shots of the car there, and more than happy to email/take any for anyone who'd like to see them...

Feel free to ask for more info.

Andy

Hiya,

Nothing catastrophic at all - leaking OSF shock,
Both front lose arm control bushes worn, OSR drop link worn. Two worn front tyres on inside edges as a result. Engine oil leak in lower area of engine is marked as green - visually okay.

None of those are hard to sort. The question is about the DPF where Citroen’s diagnostics reports DPF overloaded, EGR and airflow faults present and glow plugs faulty. (I’ve done well to manage without reading glasses to decipher that!).

So nothing major - but having spent a lot since we got the beastie, it’s now a straightforward choice: get her sorted and cancel a wedding or get this fabulous car to someone who’ll appreciate it.

Heart broken in the former case, merely utterly naffed off in the latter. So no choice about letting the motor go. A shame as we both absolutely adore her…

And coming up to 116k miles, timing belt done c90000 iirc and dpf additive refilled…today. [%*^#@!].
