New hydraulic struts availability and cost

 As it has been weeping for a while, decided to crack on with the LH front strut.

As I found when I did the RH one a year or so ago, if you can negotiate a discount, Citroen themselves are the cheapest source I could find -- just shy of £500 with the VAT, with next morning delivery.

I was surprised to see a date marking of June 21 on the strut packing. Can't help but wonder if they have done a recent batch, whether it will be the last one ? Time must be running out for the supply of new pieces absolutely peculiar to the model.

Unsurprisingly, the weeping LDS had done for the bottom bush in the upright, but on the other hand, as it was thorughly lubricated, it almost walked out.
